Head Coach

Tyler Moe has been appointed the head coach of the Oakville A’s MEL Minor Midget team and brings with him his extensive baseball background and experience. Tyler is currently employed by the Major League Baseball’s Baltimore Orioles as an Area Scout in Canada and resides in Oakville. Earlier this year he was named as a member of the Top 100 Most Influential Canadians in Major League Baseball by Bob Elliott of the Canadian Baseball Network.

Highlights from Tyler’s coaching and playing career include:

  • Player graduate of the Oakville A’s program
  • 3 Time Inter-county Champion with Brantford Red Sox (2 as coach, 1 as player)
  • 4 Time All-Conference 3B selection at Graceland University (NAIA)
  • Holder of the Single Season and Career School Records for Hits, Home Runs, RBI’s, Total Bases and Games Played at Graceland University (NAIA)Represented Canada and USA in several international tournaments
  • 2 COBA championships as Coach at the Midget Level (2011 and 2012)
