2023 Elite Head Coaches Announced
Baseball Oakville (OMBA) is pleased to announce our 2023 Elite Program Head Coaches.
15U Elite
Nathan Brown will enter his 10th year coaching in Oakville with next season's BEL team. This will mark his 8th year as Head Coach of the 2008 program and is one of the few coaches in the province taking the team from Minor Rookieball all the way up to BEL. Baseball has been a big part of his life between playing in Mississauga growing up to coaching both as a non parent and parent over the years and giving back to the game. He has built a strong team culture where team success outweighs individual achievements and that ensures development and fun are had year in and year out. A long track record of success has followed the team over the years between tournament wins every season, to provincial finals and a regular fixture at the top of the COBA standings. Nate looks forward to the exciting challenge ahead in Elite baseball and leading these young men next season.
Congratulations Nathan!

18U Elite
Kyle Liberto is entering his 12th year coaching in OBA and 5th year with the Oakville A's family. Kyle's on field success includes multiple City Championships and an 18U Provincial Title with Royal York Baseball. In 2018, he led Etobicoke's 15U Elite Program. His first year in COBA back in 2019, he was appointed Head Coach of the 13U COBA All Stars.
Kyle worked for The Toronto Blue Jays as an Amateur Baseball Instructor. Over the last 5 years, he's worked with and developed several players through instructional clinics, Super Camps and The biggest amateur showcase in Canada, Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy Showcase. Kyle's playing career included the Etobicoke Rangers AAA Program, along with surrounding organizations in Etobicoke and most recently, a member of the Ontario Senior Baseball Association.
Kyle is a fully certified NCCP Coach, Learning Facilitator and Level 3 Umpire.
Kyle has led our 17U Elite Program in 2022 and has a strong focus on development towards team opportunities, including U.S. Programming along with College Placement Pathways and Baseball Canada National Qualifiers. Congratulations Kyle!
