2018 BEL Head Coach named
Submitted By Heidi Dombek on Saturday, August 12, 2017
Baseball Oakville is proud to name Jeffery Lamont as the Head Coach of our Bantam Elite (BEL) program for the 2018 season.

Jeffery has had a long association with the OMBA and the Oakville A’s, having played with the A’s for several years, and having taught at the former OMBA Baseball Camp.  Graduating from the A’s, Jeff played a year for Hamilton in the InterCounty before taking a year to play in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Through the years, Jeff has taught at local (Pro Teach) and International (Doyle Baseball) baseball schools and has worked with several MLB scouts.  More recently, Jeff has coached in the High Park Braves organization (Little League), and for the past three years has been the Head Coach of the successful Tier 1 Oakville A’s (2003 age group).

This high-performance program is geared toward the player who is looking for the development and exposure necessary to play baseball in high-school and beyond.  The team will utilize the Dugout indoor facility that is operated by Baseball Oakville exclusively for its member teams. Bantam aged players looking to play high-level baseball should check Baseball Oakville's website and Twitter (@OakvilleAsBEL15) for information on the BEL tryouts to be held in mid August.

Should you wish to contact Jeffery directly, he can be reached at [email protected] or at 416-996-4239.

Baseball Oakville will also have some exciting announcements regarding programs and personnel over the summer.

Stay tuned!
