2026 18U Elite Head Coach - Alan Mangaroo




Alan will enter his 23nd year as a rep head coach in OBA, with most of the time at the AAA level in Oakville and Mississauga as a parent and non-parent coach. Alan currently is the Head Coach to Oakville A’s 16U Elite team. The team is doing well, and currently sits in first place in the West division. Last year, he lead the 15U Elite team to the OBA finals and two years ago Alan was an Assistant Coach to the Oakville A’s 18U Elite team. He can not wait to continue the success and build a competitive 18U Elite team for the 2026 season.


Alan previously coached the Oakville AAA 2009 team from Minor Rookieball (8U) to Major Peewee (13U) with achievements each season from various tournament wins to consistently being a top team in OBA. His coaching philosophy is to provide a meaningful experience to the athletes while enhancing their skills and values in life through sport. His love and respect for the game of baseball is illustrated by his continued commitment to lead a high performing team.
