2024 15U Elite Head Coach Announced
We are pleased to announce Alan Mangaroo as our 2024 15U Elite Head Coach. Alan will enter his 21st year as a rep head coach in OBA, with most of that time at the AAA level in Oakville and Mississauga as a parent and non-parent coach.  Alan previously coached the Oakville AAA 2009 team from minor Rookieball (8U) to Major Peewee (13U) with continued success each season from various tournament wins to consistently being a top team in OBA.

His coaching philosophy is to provide a meaningful experience to the athletes while enhancing their skills and values in life through sport. His love and respect for the game of baseball is illustrated by his continued commitment to lead a high performing team. Alan currently is the assistant coach to the Oakville A’s 18U Elite team and cannot wait to build a competitive 15U Elite team for the 2024 season.

We are excited to have Shaw Bowser join Baseball Oakville as Lead Assistant for our 2024 15U Elite team. Shaw's playing background consists of being on Team Ontario at 18 years old then moving on to play college baseball in the USA for 3 years. He played at Bay State College and Erie College where the team was ranked 7th in the nation for the NJCAA. Once he returned back to Canada Shaw began working as a pitching instructor and scout for Prep Baseball Report (PBR) as well as helping coach at the AAA level. Welcome Shaw!

Halton Dairy Farmers
Tom’s Father became a tenant farmer on the Rode Hall Estate in 1968. He came to the estate with 30 cows and joined them with the Landlord’s 30 cows and started the Rode Farms Partnership. The family resided and farmed at Rode Home Farm. Tom was born in 1969 and grew up working on the farm and studied at Reaseheath College. Following college he travelling around NZ and Canada, and then came back to the farm and joined the partnership in 1989 with Sir Richards son Randle, by then the business was a 200 cow herd. The partnership went on to grow to a 600 cow business milking twice a day on 3 farms.
