Minor Rookie A's Win Mississauga North Tournament
The Minor Rookie A's have three tournament wins after winning the Mississauga North tournament this weekend.

The A's won all three round robin games and gave up a stingy 15 runs over 13 innings to top the ten-team pool. The A's beat London West Tincaps 21-6, London North Nationals 20-0 and the Newmarket Hawks 26-9.

For the semi final, the A's faced off against the Milton Mets in what turned out to be their toughest battle and the most exciting game of the tournament. Trailing 8-2 after two innings, the A's defence held the Mets to three runs over the final five innings while the offence chipped away at the lead. Going into the bottom of the 7th trailing by two, the A's bats kept on scoring with one run off Tristan T's one out double and two runs off Ethan W's 2-run walk-off double.

In a rematch of Oakville tournament final, the A's faced the North York Blues. After giving up eight runs early in the game, the defence held the Blues to just one more run and the A's bats were too powerful, scoring two or more runs in every inning including seven runs in the fourth. The 19 - 9 victory gave the A's their third tournament victory of the year.
