Tournament Update
This past weekend (May 30 - June 1) saw many of our A's team in action at tournaments and a lot of success.

The Minor Rookie Ball team won their first tournament this past weekend here in Oakville. The boys ran the table in the round robin beating the Markham Mariners 20-3, Pickering Red Sox 29-5, Burlington Bulls 21-1 and the Kitchener Panthers 19-1. They beat North York 16-5 in the semi-final and won the tournament by beating the Mississauga North Tigers 12-4 in the Final.

The Major Rookie Ball 1 team won the Burlington tournament. The A's won 14-7 over the Mississauga Majors and 18-10 over the Kitchener Pathers. They beat the Burlington Bulls 15-5 in the semi final and went on the win the final 10-7 over the Mississauga North Tigers. This win makes tournament wins in back to back weekends after winning the Mississauga North tournament last weekend.

The Major Rookie Ball 2 team went 2-1 in the Cardinal Classic Tournament in St. Thomas.

The Minor Bantam 2 played their first tournament of the year in Bolton on the weekend.  The A's won their first game on Friday over Pickering 16-6.  On Saturday the A's hung with Richmond Hill AAA until the last inning, dropping a tough 7-4 decision, but bounced back in the afternoon to comfortably beat Royal York 11-5.  Needing help in the tiebreaker, advancement to Sunday's semifinals was not to be as Oakville was edged out by Whitby on run differential.
